About Elif Akbay
After graduating from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his specialty training at Ankara Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital. Akbay, who started his career at Amasya Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Training and Research Hospital, later worked at Ankara Gülhane Training and Research Hospital. Afterwards, he served in Private Çağsu Hospitals in Bolu and Düzce.
He currently serves as an Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Specialist within our hospital.
He contributed internationally by presenting papers titled "Adipofascial Flap in Tissue Defect of the Forearm" and "Spitzoid Melanoma" at the 10th BAPRAS Congress held in Belgrade, Serbia in 2017. He also made a presentation titled "Primary Neuroendocrine Tumor: Case Study" at the Balkan Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Congress held in Belgrade the same year.
At the national level, he made many presentations at the 37th and 38th National Congresses of the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association. These papers include topics such as "Dorsal Adipofascial Flap Usage in Forearm Soft Tissue Defect: Case Presentation", "Rare Variant of Malignant Melanoma: Spitzoid Melanoma Case Presentation", and "Neglected Long-Term Arch Bar Complication: Case Presentation".
Finally, he presented important papers such as "Scaphoid Subluxation-Related Extensor Tendon Rupture", "Malignant Proliferative Trichilemmal Tumor: Case Presentation" and "Delayed Infection Case Obtained with Own Oral Flora" at the 41st National Congress of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery held in Samsun in 2019.
Elif Akbay serves as an experienced plastic surgeon who makes significant scientific contributions in her field of expertise at national and international levels.
